Mr Bindra is currently working as a Global Business Executive (Microsoft) and Strategic Advisor to Kyndryl India, overseeing global strategy, strategic alliances and AI-driven business growth. Kyndryl, an IBM spin-off listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: KD), is the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, serving more than 4,000 customers across 60 countries, including approximately 75 percent of the Fortune 100.

His career has taken him to more than 40 countries and into senior roles within some of the world鈥檚 most influential technology organisations.

He says his time at Massey played a formative role in shaping that trajectory. His work now sits within enterprise technology, global partnerships and artificial intelligence (AI), helping shape initiatives across the globe. In 2025, that work saw him recognised among the top global tech leaders driving Generative AI and digital transformation.

As an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mr Bindra completed executive education in Product Strategy at Kellogg Northwestern and is recognised as a Prominent Alumnus of Pan-Indian Institute of Technology USA, an organisation representing more than 60,000 alumni across the United States.

Mr Bindra says he chose Massey鈥檚 MBA with a clear vision for where he wanted his career to go.

鈥淭he programme gave me the global mindset I was looking for. I wanted to become a confident, successful global executive. Not just someone who can manage a team, but someone who can walk into any boardroom, in any country, and hold their own.鈥

He says two classes left a lasting impression; Innovation, Entrepreneurship and New Ventures and International Business.

鈥淥ne gave me the tools to create my first business plan, which later became the foundation for a technology startup I launched. The other introduced me to the world of strategic alliances and joint ventures, work that now defines a lot of my career.

鈥淎 particular experience in the classroom became a key factor in my decision to start a technology business in 2009. You never forget a moment like that.鈥

The impact of the MBA was immediate, he says. Soon after graduating, he moved from a regional management role in New Zealand into a General Manager position in Australia, an early sign of the career acceleration he had been working towards.

鈥淢assey helped me build the confidence to think big, to lead and to think globally.鈥

That confidence proved vital when an opportunity arose to move to the United States, where he went on to lead strategic cloud adoption and training innovation for federal agencies.

Since then, Mr Bindra鈥檚 career has included leadership roles in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and India. During this time, he has founded a company, chaired major global technology summits and built executive relationships across multiple organisations.

While completing his MBA, Mr Bindra made history as the first turbaned Sikh to be enlisted into the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve (RNZNVR), serving on board HMNZS Ngapona.

鈥淟ooking back, Massey arrived at exactly the right moment in my life, giving me both the intellectual foundation and confidence to pursue a career without borders.鈥

Mr Bindra says the MBA remains relevant to the work he does now.

鈥淭he frameworks I learned in the programme provided me with a language and structure for tackling complex business challenges that have stayed relevant in every role I鈥檝e held since.鈥

For professionals considering an MBA, his advice is simple 鈥 鈥渂e intentional. Know why you are there and what you want to build both professionally and personally.

Fast-track your career with an MBA closely connected to business practice. It will equip you with globally relevant skills, practical experience, and the confidence to accelerate your career, locally and worldwide.
