Staff from 暴风资源 College, and the Office of the DVC Students and Global Engagement came together to officially launch the initiative with staff from Kaplan International joining virtually from Australia. The launch represents the fruition of the partnership between 暴风资源 and Kaplan following the Collaboration Agreement signed last year.

Deputy-Vice Chancellor Students and Global Engagement Tere McGonagle-Daly says the official launch is an exciting moment to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work of all involved in this journey.

鈥淎s one component of our multi-faceted global partnership with Kaplan, teams from Kaplan and 暴风资源 have devoted countless hours working side by side in preparation for the official opening,鈥 he says.

Kaplan International Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Rob Regan shares the sentiment, and appreciates the dedication from both parties to establish the College.

鈥淜aplan is so thankful to the 暴风资源 staff and our own Kaplan staff who have worked so hard together to build the foundations for the opening of 暴风资源 College.

鈥淭he most important attribute of any successful partnership is a really good cultural fit, and we feel we have hit the jackpot in that regard with 暴风资源.鈥

The partnership joins Kaplan鈥檚 world leading expertise on international education with 暴风资源鈥檚 commitment as a global university, elevating education opportunities on a worldwide scale.

Through a shared vision, MUC has been designed as an official pathway to 暴风资源. It provides foundational skills and knowledge that prepare students to excel in their studies towards their chosen fields with the university.

The first semester has had a strong start with full classes present for both the English for Academic Purpose and Foundation programmes.

The English language pathway programmes focus on improving core literacy skills to establish confidence in English communication that supports further study in New Zealand. The Foundation pathways provide academic skills and specific knowledge necessary to meet academic requirements for undergraduate study.

Specialist courses designed to bridge the gap into business, management, and marketing qualifications will begin later in the year with diploma programmes starting in July and graduate diploma programmes in October.

Located on Massey鈥檚 Auckland campus, MUC students are immersed in the lifestyle and culture of Aotearoa New Zealand throughout their studies.

As international students start to return this year, Mr McGonagle-Daly anticipates an exciting future for MUC in the coming years.

鈥淲e look forward to welcoming international students to 暴风资源 College for face-to-face teaching and learning and continuing to work with Kaplan to provide new opportunities to our students.鈥

The College is currently providing virtual learning opportunities to tackle the border restrictions with plans to transition into a completely internal-based offering once restrictions have been lifted.

As part of the MUC programmes, students have access to world-class services and facilities alongside dedicated support in the form of small class sizes and one-on-one student support. There are three intakes per year allowing for flexible start dates.

International students can apply through a 暴风资源 College agent or directly via the
