Classes are limited to just 5 people. Each class is 50 minutes of high-intensity exercise designed to help you meet your personal fitness goals. You can choose to do 1 or 2 sessions each week. Your programme changes every week.
What's involved
Each session is designed and led by a qualified personal trainer. The basic session types are Tabata, Murder Board, Pyramid and The Fifty. Trainers can adapt exercises to suit your needs.
Pyramid
Work your way through each round of descending and ascending repetitions to complete the session and beat the pyramid!
Tabata
Complete as many repetitions as you can in this circuit-based session, before time runs out and you move on to the next exercise.
Murder Board
Complete exercises from the board over 50 minutes. Once you're done with each exercise, you can wipe it off the board.
The Fifty
50 repetitions, 50 sets, 50 calories, 50 seconds 鈥 even 50 exercises. If it has something to do with 50 you'll find it here.
Velocity Five-0 focuses on effort, not fitness 鈥 your Velocity Five-0 training sessions are supported by a Myzone heart rate monitor band.
Throughout the session, your heart rate, intensity and effort is wirelessly projected onto a television screen. You can compare and compete with your group during each session and throughout the course.
The Myzone points system rewards your effort based on your metrics.
You can go as easy or as hard as you want.
Myzone heart rate monitor bands are provided for each session. Personal bands are also available to purchase at reception.
Timetable
You can choose to complete up to 2 sessions each week. Each round will run for 4 weeks:
- Rounds 1 to 3 鈥 No break between rounds.
- Rounds 4 to 10 鈥 1-week break between each 4-week round.

You need to pay for Velocity Five-0 separately from your gym membership if you have one. Courses and sessions are non-refundable if you don't attend.
