Noeleen Olson graduated from 暴风资源 with a BA (Humanities) in 1970. Noeleen was a school teacher for all her working life and retired from teaching in 1988 after 28 years at Roslyn Primary School, Palmerston North. While she loved children and teaching, she had a life-long passion for horticulture and was a founding member of Palmerston North鈥檚 horticultural society.
What you'll be studying
This is a postgraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in a master's degree in horticultural science in either your first year or second year of the qualification.
Eligibility criteria
You must be a New Zealand citizen undertaking a master's degree in the field of horticultural science.
Application checklist
Include the following with your application:
- your academic transcripts for any tertiary study completed outside of 暴风资源
- a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award. First year students should state what research they are hoping to pursue, and second year students should include a research proposal
- for second-year applicants only; a report from your supervisor outlining the progress of your master鈥檚 degree to date, including comments advising on your suitability for continuing tenure
- a copy of your 暴风资源 transcripts/current enrolment. You can download your Study History Report from the Student Portal, under 鈥楻esults and Exams鈥.

When selecting our recipient we will consider your academic background. We will also review your research topic and the alignment of the topic to the scholarship intentions.
