About the Real Estate Analysis Unit
The REAU provides cutting-edge academic consultancy project work for public, private, not-for-profit and partnership projects.

Professor Emeritus Bob Hargreaves
Bob鈥檚 research interests include real estate and land economics, rural valuations, valuing for rating and taxation, subdivisions, computer assisted valuations, government role in housing markets, analysis of leasehold government office accommodation. Private sector rental housing market.
Dr Arshad Javed
Arshad鈥檚 research interests include Real Estate Development and Management, Property Evaluation, Portfolio Investment, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Sustainability and Value Management, Zero Carbon Building, Construction Health and Safety, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Prefabricated Pre finished Volumetric Construction (PPVC).
Dr David White
Dr David White is a Lecturer in Property at Massey and Senior Consultant at Colliers International.
He has 25 years鈥 experience in the property industry in areas of investment; corporate real estate; and consultancy covering the commercial, industrial, retail and residential property across the public and private sectors.
